The Fishers Police Department is investigating two daytime burglaries reported in the last two days.  The first burglary occurred on May 21st in the Thorny Ridge sub-division of Hamilton Proper.  The second occurred today in the Chestnut Hill sub-division of Hamilton Proper.

Officers were called to 10500 block of Chestnut Hill Circle at approximately 10:30 am today when a homeowner reported hearing someone in the house.  The man reported being in bed when he heard a male voice in the house.  The homeowner’s dogs immediately began barking and the suspect(s) exited the house.  The man reported seeing a white work van driving down the street by his home after the incident.  The suspect(s) entered the house through an open garage entry door and an unlocked pass door to the house.  Nothing was taken from the home.

On Wednesday, May 21st officers were called to the 10600 block of Thorny Ridge Trace.  The homeowner reported that she left the house at approximately 11:00 am.  When she returned at 3:45 pm, she discovered that someone entered her home through an open bathroom window.  The homeowner reported several items of jewelry missing from the home.  There are no suspects at this time.
